A native of Buffalo Grove, Jami Attenberg reads from her newest novel, Saint Mazie, about the big-hearted and bawdy proprietress of The Venice, a New York City movie theater located in the Bowery neighborhood. Attenberg is the author of several short stories and The Middlesteins, which was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Fiction.
