Indian Trails Public Library District - Main

Event Details

A young aspiring photographer named Dorothea Lange arrives in San Francisco in 1918. Dorothea is grateful for the fast friendship of Caroline Lee, a vivacious, straight-talking Chinese American with a complicated past, who introduces Dorothea to Monkey Block, an artists’ colony, and the bohemian heart of the city.

Registration required and begins December 1. Call the library to register and reserve a copy of the book for pickup at the hold shelf or drive-up window.

In its seventh year, One Book, One Community (OBOC) is a partnership among Cook Memorial Public Library, Indian Trails Public Library and Vernon Area Public Library to bring a community read to our residents. OBOC sparks conversations around the themes of the chosen book.
