Author Tim Pinnick of Finding and Using African American Newspapers discusses the benefits of using African American newspapers for solving research problems and gaining insight into the social activities of urban and rural black communities. Attendees will learn tips and strategies for finding and using these papers to reconstruct communities and discover the FAN Club of friends, associates and neighbors. Registration required.
